exhibitors

The
recently
concluded
Interiors
&
Buildex
2009
lived
up
to
its
reputation
as
the
biggest
event
in
Oman
for
the
building
and
construction
industry
by
bringing
together
a
record
number
of
exhibitors
as
well
as
by
attracting
thousands
of
visitors
on
all
days
of
the
event.
The
international
exhibition,
which
was
held
on
March
16-18
at
the
Oman
International
Exhibition
Centre
in
Muscat,
prominently
featured
a
wide
range
of
building
materials,
construction
equipment,
and
interior
furnishings.
Organised
by
Omanexpo
LLC,
the
three-day
event
was
intended
to
serve
the
growing
requirements
of
the
sultanate’s
vibrant
building
and
construction
industry,
which
presently
continues
to
experience
rapid
growth
with
the
implementation
of
various
multimillion-dollar
projects
in
many
parts
of
the
country.
“We
are
highly
pleased
with
the
results
of
Interiors
&
Buildex
2009
as
many
of
our
exhibitors
reported
having
signed
lucrative
business
deals
during
the
exhibition,”
said
C.J.
Paul,
general
manager
of
Omanexpo
LLC,
the
leading
exhibition
management
company
in
the
sultanate.
Paul
pointed
out
that
the
sixth
edition
of
Interiors
&
Buildex
made
history
by
attracting
the
participation
of a
total
number
of
185
exhibitors,
a
dramatic
increase
from
only
104
participating
companies
a
year
earlier.
In
addition,
industry
professionals
and
other
trade
visitors
packed
the
exhibition
hall
on a
daily
basis,
with
the
total
visitor
count
reaching
7,276
for
the
whole
three-day
event.
“The
exhibition
was
extremely
well
organised.
The
participants
and
visitors
had
a
complete
focus
on
their
requirements,”
commented
Said
Al
Saqri,
managing
director
of

an
Omani

that
is
engaged
in
the
manufacture
and
installation
of
